AGENCY INTRODUCTION – I & A Homecare Services
Ltd began originally as a Nursing Care Agency five years ago. From which we have developed and maintained good working
relationships with various Nursing Homes, Elderly Mentally Ill Units, and
many more than we can mention, from Accrington to as far as Manchester.
I & A Homecare is a small and friendly family run
business, that believes the client is similar to an extended family
member. Mrs Lisa Hunneybell is the
Registered Manager and has her RMA NVQ 3 & 4 along with all mandatory
courses, palliative care, equality & diversity and many more all of these
are regularly updated as and when required.
All service users and their homes will be assessed to
ensure that all Health and Safety Guidelines are adhered to, this is to
enable the client to live, and the Homecarer/Domestic Assistant to work
within a safe environment.
Each service user will have their own individual
care plan catered to their own needs.
Written or computerised information about service users, such as
care plans, records, etc, will be in compliance with the Data Protection
Act 1984 (amended 1998). All

If a service user has a complaint against an agency

If a service user feels that the Care or Domestic Assistant is not suitable for them, a replacement will be made immediately, this is to reassure that the service user will not be without the service(s) of a Care or Domestic Assistant at any time. Please note that I & A Homecare Services Limited also have the right to withdraw Care or Domestic service(s), if the service user displays unacceptable behaviour/harassment towards the care or domestic assistant.
MEDICATION – I & A Homecare Services Limited care staff are able to assist service users with their medication and will document this on the MAR chart and also in the service users individual care plan that is in the service users home.
INVOICING/WITNESSING DOCUMENTS AND GIFT PROCEDURES
– The service user or their representative shall be invoiced by I &
A Homecare Services Monday of each week, and stress that payment should be
made no later than two week’s upon receipt of invoice.
We ask service users or their representatives DO NOT
ASK our staff members to witness any legal document(s). We also ask that service users do not offer any MONIES,
JEWELLERY OR OTHER GIFTS, to our staff members, as this causes
embarrassment to them, as they are not allowed to accept them under staff
